Privacy

edesia.food is the website of Edesia, a cooking companion made by novaflux. This page says what the website keeps about you when you visit it or sign up for the beta. The Edesia app has its own terms, which beta testers receive with their invitation.

What data the site processes

What we collect and why

The “Beta sign-up” form. When you sign up we receive: your name, your email address, your message (optional), the language you cook in, how many you cook for, how often you cook, which phone you use, for the app later. We use them to write to you about what you signed up for, with the consent you tick in the form (Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679); you can ask us to stop at any time. We keep a sign-up for at most 12 months, or until you ask us to remove it, then delete it automatically. We send you an email confirming the sign-up.

Statistics without cookies. We count visits to know which pages are read: the page, the site you came from, the type of device and browser, the country and city. The city is found from the IP address, which is not kept; a visit is recognised only by a code that changes every day and cannot be linked to you. The basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f)).

Hosting. The Cloudflare servers that deliver the pages see your device's IP address, like any web server, to send the pages and protect them from abuse.

Cookies

The site uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, which is why it does not ask for cookie consent.

Who processes the data

• novaflux decides which data are used and why (the controller).
• novaflux, through Halonic, receives the form messages and the statistics on the controller's behalf; the data are stored in the European Union (Frankfurt).
• Resend sends the emails with the messages and confirmations (United States, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).
• Cloudflare hosts the site (a global network, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete the data about you, to restrict or object to their use, or to receive them in a portable format, and you may withdraw your consent. Write to us at contact@sandor.pro. You may complain to Romania's data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
